Yushin Okami punched Buddy Roberts an innumerable amount of times to win at UFC 150

My backyard is infested with four leaf clovers. I still haven't won the lottery yet. In essence, my backyard was synonymous to Yushin Okami's UFC career. In his five years in the organization, he's racked up a record of 11-4, never been finished (except that one time by Anderson Silva...and Tim Boetsch) and has essentially been the sole representation of Japanese MMA in the USA. Okami has absolutely no tattoos because he believes tattoos are 'evil.' However, if someone were to get a tattoo of Jesus Christ or Mother Teresa, that may create some paradox in Okami's belief of aesthetic epidermal abrasions. Dana White validated my opinion of Yushin Okami when he gave him a title shot. He's the only person in the UFC to have ever defeated Anderson Silva and he did it via...a disqualification from an illegal kick. It's still a W on Okami's record and an L on Silva's which is something Chael Sonnen, Vitor Belfort, Dan Henderson, Forrest Griffin, Rich Franklin, Chris Leben, Demian Maia, Patrick Côté, Nate Marquardt, Jeremy Horn and not even Lee Murray can claim. Granted, Murray pulled off the biggest bank heist in history so in some strange way, he gets the last laugh. Unfortunately in his rematch with Anderson Silva -- Anderson Silva was Anderson Silva. That pretty much sums out the result of that bout.

Tonight at UFC 150, I watched Yushin Okami vs. Buddy Roberts with Stephen Quadros commentating the bout perfectly at my table. He played the role of Nastradamus and essentially called out that Okami was going to defeat Roberts via an unstoppable onslaught of ground and pound. In reality, the TKO was more systematic than unstoppable. Nevertheless, props to Yushin Oami on finally breaking his loss streak in the UFC.
