If you've ever watched the show 'World's Dumbest Criminals' then you will probably agree that the next two guys should end up on on upcoming episode of this show. According to KSAT.com news out of San Antonio, TX- Karl Rogers and Adrian Sanchez earned their way to a spot on the 'dumbest criminals' list when they decided it would be a great idea to break into a Brazilian Top Team MMA gym on Tuesday. Why anyone would think it was a good idea to break into a place where one could potentially run into multiple people who train everyday in techniques that could potentially kill if necessary is beyond my brain's capacity to fathom.
According to the KSAT story, (which you can watch in full entirity if you click here) the two began banging on a back door in attempts to break in but little did they know there were two fighters inside who had just finished wrapping up a training session. One of the fighters named Caleb Murphee stated that he heard the knocking and he and his training partner tried to alert them attempted burglars that someone was inside. At that point, one can assume a person with an at least average intelligence would say to themself "oh hey sounds like there are people inside this MMA gym we are trying to rob, maybe we should run away now before we potentially get a flying knee to the skull or a fist shoved into our orbital socket." Not these two Einsteins though. By the way here's their mugshots to point and ROTFLYAO:
Instead of running away, the two then moved to a roll up garage door, gained accees to the building and entered. Upon entry the crooks were greeted by Murphee and his buddy. I guess the flight part of their 'fight or flight instinct' kicked in once they saw two trained fighters ready to hurl free weights at them and destroy their sorry existence. The police ended up catching the two of them in the building parking lot a short time later, which sounds like they weren't smart enough to run far and fast away from the location. Just another example of why you shouldn't do drugs kids, bath salt craziness. [Source]
