Jon Jones has no interest in fighting Lyoto Machida again

I firmly believe that honesty is the best policy, although that method is sure to make people not like you, but Jon Jones has finally realized he has enough haters to the point where he has diminishing hostility returns on his comments. Jon Jones is the LeBron James of MMA, and we have to accept that. The dude is unbelievable, and if there wasn't a Burger King munching, bumblebee-obsessed Brazilian hosting BBQ parties for gangsters from West Linn, Oregon wanting to go down in weight and not up, we'd have more than one challenger for Bones' crown that no doubt weighs heavy on the champion's head.

At UFC on FOX 4 Lyoto Machida was named the man to take on the winner of Bones/Hendo, and although many people are as excited as hell about this (me included), Bones doesn't really see the logic of the matchmaking; from a business or sporting perspective. This is what he had to say to ESPN on the subject:

"I don't want to fight Lyoto Machida,"  "He was my lowest pay-per-view draw of last year."

"No one wants to see me fight Lyoto Machida. I don't want to fight Lyoto again. Lyoto is high risk and low reward."

"He's a tough fighter, but no one wants to buy that fight."

"Between (Mauricio) Shogun (Rua), (Quinton) Rampage (Jackson) and Rashad (Evans), Lyoto was my lowest draw. Why would I want to fight someone where it's a lose-lose situation? "I won't make money on it. And he's a tricky fighter."

Jones doesn't even know if he would accept the fight with Lyoto:

"I don't even know," "I don't know how to answer that right now."

"I don't think it's appropriate to be talking about fighting anybody but Dan Henderson," "I'm clearly focused on Dan Henderson. I'm not overlooking Dan."

Nor should Bones overlook the H-Bomb. But outside of a plethora of rematches featuring dudes he's demolished in the past, who else is there? Gustaffson? This is something best pondered sipping a tall, warm glass of urine.
