Just because Junior Dos Santos lost to Cain Velasquez last weekend, it doesn’t mean that anyone should be less afraid of him. This whole time, we’ve seen a Junior Dos Santos who smiled at press conferences and made easy work of the toughest heavyweight division in the world. Now, he’s going to come back stronger, scarier, and give those opponents far less respect. I genuinely fear for the person that has to fight him next. How do you prepare for an angry JDS? The short answer is finding something else you’re good at and seeing if they have any job openings in that field. The tougher answer is learning how to do everything better than someone who looked unbeatable in all but 25 minutes of his entire life.
We wish JDS a speedy recovery, and we’re sure whenever he feels better, he’ll frate trane his way right back to the top of the pecking order at heavyweight. Until then, here’s his message to all the fans that supported him for this last fight.
