We saw the tussle between Uriah Faber and Conor McGregor before McGregor took on Chad Mendes at UFC 189, and it looked strange. It almost looked like a work, or just the most awkward play fight in the history of backstage scuffles, but oddly enough – it was real.
Sure, Conor says it’s all in good fun, but reports have said that another mini-fight broke out at the TUF 329 filming between Faber and McGregor, which is also a strange pairing because we all know if Jose Aldo doesn’t fight soon, Faber versus McGregor WILL happen, and Faber will lose like he always does in big fights.
So the conspiracy theorist in me believes that this is all subtle marketing. The seeds are being planted, and this interview helps prove it.
I think.
I dunno.
