It goes without saying that Gary LaPlante wishes he was the guy strapped to Shogun’s back, holding on to Mauricio’s strong, warm, frame as they tumble to earth at cheek-flapping speed. Then the only natural thing to happen next would be Shogun punching Lil Nog as he landed 2005 Pride Middleweight Grand Prix style, then they would all be covered in the parachute and would giggle while trying to get out. I can only imagine how difficult it would be for Rogerio to get perfectly under Gary and Shogun and into a position for them to enter his guard for the full effect. It may take multiple tries.
Logistics and Gary’s dreaming aside, watch Shogun jump out of a plane before his fight against Brandon Vera at UFC on Fox 4.
